We usually meet on the first Thursday of the month and would welcome any new members, please contact Sarah Lyte on sarahmclyte@gmail.com. From April to October, we go on pre-arranged outings to visit gardens, commercial vegetable, or flower producers etc followed by tea & cake. These outings and the indoor “winter” programme of speakers, held in the TVCH Bowden Room at 2.30, are planned the year before by the committee based on recommendations and suggestions from members. Membership fees are just £6 pa with each outing being self-funded by attendees. Each year we also have a Summer Gathering, usually in a member’s garden, with four fun internal competitions and enjoy some good food and conversation. Non-members can attend individual meetings for a £1 fee.
